Meet Our Patients

Thomas is a patient at our Downtown Medical Respite Center. Thomas has been in and out of the hospital for a while, struggling with medical issues and unable to find a stable place to heal. So when he arrived at our center, he was exhausted and needed a safe and supportive environment. Thanks to the compassionate care of our team, Thomas received the medical attention he needed and a place to rest and recover.

Throughout his stay, Thomas’s health improved significantly. He was given the time and space to heal and found comfort in the supportive community surrounding him. As he began to feel better, he shared with us his dream of returning to Hawaii, his birthplace and a place he had been unable to visit in years.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we can help Thomas make his dreams a reality. With their support, we were able to provide Thomas with the resources he needed to become medically stable so he could arrange his safe return to Hawaii. We are thrilled to see the joy on his face as he prepares to embark on this new chapter in his life.

Thomas’ story is just one example of the impact that Circle the City can have on the lives of those we serve.
