Circle the City holds groundbreaking ceremony for new East Valley Medical Respite Center in Mesa to address the growing number of those facing homelessness across the East Valley. “What we have seen over and over is that medical respite gives people a chance to heal. It programs them for success, not only for regaining their health, but for moving out of homelessness,” says Circle the City Founder Sister Adele O’Sullivan. The new facility will have 85 beds, and provide patients facing homelessness a space to rest, recover and see medical professionals for their various needs. The new facility is slated to open its doors in 2026.
