Phoenix nonprofit to use $3M grant to address homeless health needs

PHOENIX — A $3 million federal grant will be used to aid the health needs of the homeless in Maricopa County.

The money was under the control of Maricopa County, but will now be managed by the Phoenix non-profit organization Circle the City.

Circle the City CEO Brandon Clark said the organization currently serves about 4,000 people each year and hopes to increase that number to more than 10,000 with the help of this grant money.
