Meet our Patients
Circle the City sees over 8,000 patients a year – meet some of our patients that we have helped get on their feet and make a difference in their lives
Meet Debbie.
Debbie Usselman
Debbie lost her legs 20 years ago after a brutal attack. Following the incident, ongoing health issues left her homeless. While on the streets, she endured years of being attacked and robbed. During one theft, someone stole her prosthetic legs. After a fall that left her with a broken hip, she went to Downtown Medical Respite Center. While there, we helped Debbie get new prosthetic legs. After months of physical therapy, Debbie was able to walk on her own. On Thanksgiving last year, upon discharge, Debbie moved into her own new home.
“Circle the City saved my life, I’m finally living the life I always dreamed of.”
– Debbie
